Without any AMD graphics cards, the system will likely need different standards than those for AMD hardware. Requirements might be higher, such as HD 7850 for baseline specs and R9 280X or 290 for optimal performance. Using Nvidia titles with AMD cards usually isn't ideal.
Oh no. Except... It's based on the Fox Engine. Which ran fine on AMD.
Previous encounters with a particular engine or game don't guarantee future performance. Arkham titles once worked well, but Arkham Crap changed things. Past functionality doesn't ensure current results.
It also doesn't mean it's going to be shit because NVIDIA is slapping their sticker on the box, and throwing some GameWorks in so that the foliage can react to the horse's legs. There's being pessimistic, being realistic, and being optimistic. I'm being realistic, and you're being pessimistic.
I can't buy Batman: Arkham Knight on PC via Steam since the title was taken down during development. It turned out to be a major issue. Why would Kojima Productions, Konami, or anyone else release a game that mirrors those problems? It looks like they're not as careless as it seems.
Kojima is no longer connected to MGS. I wasn't suggesting it would be a bad outcome; I was only noting that Nvidia's support for the game via their cards could lead to issues with GameWorks on AMD hardware.
