It seems we're facing a sudden rise in demand for i7 processors. It could be developers relaxing on optimization or the industry shifting toward newer tech.

Observing a trend, ports with issues demand very strict specs (CoD Ghosts, Arkham Shite, etc.).

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes showcased the impressive capabilities of the Fox Engine. If Phantom Pain runs on the same engine, it suggests a high-quality game with strong performance. The demanding standards likely stem from the current gaming landscape, and it seems the newest MGS aims to expand visual limits.

I usually interpret "recommends" as "Medium resolution 1080p at 60fps," and i7s are really pricey. Plus, the 760 remains a solid card.
