Kali Macbook Pro?
Kali Macbook Pro?
It works and I've already attempted it. It feels like the palm isn't accepting it well, maybe due to some issues with the palm rejection. I'm not usually a mouse user, but it can be handy occasionally.
Sure, a 2009 Windows laptop still performs well today. Visit any tech venue or meeting—Macs clearly outperform Windows machines. They have their place, but this year felt a bit lacking in battery life and capabilities. Beyond that, the QC controls and BSD-based OS offer strong security and terminal simplicity. MacBook Airs are generally disappointing overall. The only worthwhile purchases from Apple are their flagship phones, MacBook Pros, and Mac Pro models. Avoid everything else.
Avoid setting up Kali, it's not designed for regular use. I'd consider Ubuntu or Debian options (like MATE) and add penetration testing tools later if needed. For better compatibility, sticking to mainstream distros should work fine, while Kali might lack proper drivers in its outdated repos.
they were good in 2009 but now there are better choices available
Absolutely not. Finding the Aqua DE in AppleScript, OSascript, or a fully integrated solution isn't possible. You'll need to work around Linux alternatives or accept the limitations of Windows interfaces.
There are open-source options available for Apple scripts and OS scripts that work better and run on Linux. You can tailor them to suit your needs.
