The game is no longer available for purchase and has stopped being sold. It appears EA has been providing free keys via Origin to those who inquired, likely to clear out any remaining inventory. The battlelog.co site has operated without EA's objections for some time, suggesting the game is considered abandonware. The community's persistence in playing it seems to be tolerated by EA.

DRM-free games are always a plus. You might find them on the website.

Exactly right. I recall playing the game back when only a handful of 64-player servers were active at certain times of the week. Throwing C4 and bunny hopping was really enjoyable. There was always this player who seemed to have a trick for the jets. I ended up racking up over 150 kills against just one death. Looking into it later.

I use BF2 HUB, their launcher creates some odd black spots on all maps. Mostly I play FH2 and shared a Battlelog post on this forum a year ago. It seems nobody really pays attention to old games before Gamespy shut down. I recall at least 7 full servers were always busy.

Have you checked if Origin is currently distributing game keys? I’d like to confirm whether they are still offering them.
