Yeah, reread @jaslion rationale if thats your xeon upgrade idea. Its not worth while unless you wanna buy a whole server/workstation board (or hacky bios for your board) and really need ECC RIGHT NOW in which case i would just go for a B550 with CSM module and a used 3200G/Ryzen 5 3600.
These are regular consumer xeons. They typically have just four cores. Intel usually doesn<|pad|>, and base consumer models don’t feature more cores.
Xeon refers to server hardware, but it doesn't automatically mean it's superior to a Core i. Your motherboard also lacks support for better CPUs. If the CPU still works well for you, stick with it—real upgrades require a new motherboard and RAM on top.
