The cooler makes sense. I'm still puzzled about why my games felt choppy. It's been a mystery even in my earlier discussions. Possibly my single-core performance isn't up to the 2060 standards yet, but I don't know for sure. The afterburner will clarify, but right now everything seems normal during use. When gaming, the FPS drops from stable around 160-180 to 120-150 after about an hour.
