Thanks for the feedback. Regarding the 10700 stock, it’s definitely manageable if you need decent cooling. As for achieving boost clocks without a Z490 or B460 board, it’s possible but may require careful tuning and testing.

there are no h410 boards available. b460 requires memory speeds of 2666mhz or lower and doesn't overclock, which is a plus. 10700 performs worse than 5600x, but 5600x offers similar multithreaded performance. The stock cooler for 10700 isn't ideal; a better choice would be a 5600x with a solid board and no cooling solution. Alternatively, you could opt for a 3600 and still play well.

I mean a board without the H410 chip. I often see console specs mentioned when choosing PC parts, like comparing 2070 Super and 5700 XT. People usually pick the 2070 Super since it includes ray tracing, and next-gen consoles also have that feature. That’s why I’m hesitant to buy a 6-core CPU because newer consoles typically use 8 cores.

The 10700k is competing strongly against the 5600x. For those holding Microcenters, it's possible to acquire the 10700k for around $199.
