I just got plague tale requiem, wanted to give it a try, but hit a wall at the beginning. Turns out the game isn’t optimized for my system, no matter if I set it to max or low. It was around a 10 fps difference either way. So I went with max and 30. After getting used to 75 FPS and playing nonstop, it became really tough at 30. Even on console it still runs okay for me. Back then I played at 15 FPS... It’s odd how things changed.

Ensure your system is complete and check the current resolution settings. Make sure you're using the most recent AMD GPU drivers.

Check if your RAM supports XMP and whether AMD's SAM feature is enabled in the BIOS settings.

Yes, XMP is restricted to certain processors, and turning off the resizable bar doesn’t alter that limitation.

I’ll also note it’s the sole title that doesn’t perform well for me.

It needs a minimum of 12 threads for smooth operation; otherwise performance drops significantly. Even without optimization, it remains challenging to execute properly.

I understand the usage is minimal, but generally it aims to distribute the workload across roughly 12 threads. If this isn't available, performance tends to decline.

Hope they manage to resolve the issue... It seems interesting and I’m looking for something decent to play right now. Why does it feel like finding new games is so difficult these days?
