It's the moment to consider a new PC upgrade!
I assembled all the new components today, and everything seems to function properly except for one RAM stick. Using it causes the new motherboard to fail to boot... It's quite unusual. When I insert that single RAM stick separately, everything boots up, but combining it with the other three doesn't work.
I don't feel confident making any adjustments.
My current setup includes two RAM modules:
- Two Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 8GB DIMMs at 2400MHz
- One Crucial CT8G4DFS824A, DDR4, 8 GB at 2400 MHz
One of the Ballistix models is causing issues.
Any suggestions? The older motherboard works well, but I can't use all of them together.
with four sticks, two pairs not matched will definitely lead to instability. You must align all four sticks with identical speeds and timing.
