It completed the test without me realizing, quickly powering it down afterward. Temperatures fell to around 45-50°C. It was running at 4.325 GHz with all-core support. My system normally stays near 70°C during BOINC, but Cinebench shows a peak of 74°C. A better cooler would help, though it would mean changing the case—something I’m not ready to do just yet.

Thanks for the update. It looks like you were in Ryzen optimized mode instead of high power mode. You don’t need to switch back unless you want your OCs to throttle properly.

Start the session here. Voltage generates warmth and a hot chip tends to lose voltage. That's why discussions about curve optimizer and negative offset are common. The best approach seems to focus on cooling. These Ryzen chips can keep a lower voltage core temperature more effectively.

I understand that higher voltage generates more heat. I wasn't aware 1.35 was significantly above typical levels. It seems the issue might be related to excess voltage being applied, causing increased heat. I didn't discuss curve optimizers in detail—unless you meant fan curves—and negative offsets were mentioned mainly for AVX. I also couldn't fully cover the cooling concerns in my previous response.
