Relevant components (I think):
MSI Gaming X TRIO RTX 4090
MSI MEG Z690I Unify
Samsung SSD 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD
I recently assembled a new system and encountered some unusual problems. When connecting the GPU to the MOBO and power cable to the HDMI for display, I received no response. Even when the GPU remained fully connected while the HDMI was connected to the motherboard, I could access BIOS and confirmed the SSD was detected correctly. Everything seemed normal until I placed the card on a riser cable for an ITX build. After that, I attempted to install Windows 11 and tried booting with the GPU connected to the display. That also failed. I restored Windows 11 by plugging the motherboard into the monitor and downloaded a BIOS update using MFLASh. When I restarted, the display went dark for about 15 minutes before the system powered off completely. Now it only powers on without any display at all.

No longer showing the iGPU or the 4090, and I'm still unsure about the PSU.

Correct. No screen shows anything. What's more unusual is that I attempted to boot from my SSD on my old computer, but it doesn't turn on at all. It seems to briefly power up with the fans spinning before stopping instantly.

Yes, I've reset the CMOS and attempted to boot using only one stick of RAM.

I attempted to start with a single RAM stick, and it powers on without a post, then shuts off and restarts. This matches the setup from before where the GPU and other components were connected to the monitor.

And there is no discussion about the iGPU even if you remove the 4090 completely.

I turned off the 4090 and it immediately posted to Windows. But no GPU detected, lol

Reinsert it and check the functionality. Likely the issue lies with the riser cable. If testing, remove the board and power it outside the case without the riser. For a PCIe 3 riser, enter BIOS, adjust the iGPU settings, and ensure the correct speed is applied. If this doesn't work, consider upgrading to a faster riser.
