Your preferences seem to be shifting, but that's okay. I'm just pointing out there are more choices available when you opt for 1440p displays. Personally, I don't like sticking with anything other than 144Hz monitors.

Consider obtaining another 1080p monitor or even a 21:9 screen right away. Plan to move to 4K within a few years once it becomes more common.
