Recent progress after about an hour and thirty minutes on the phone. Two different people asked me to control the device for them, then after some unhelpful actions, requested my 8.1 key. They seem to be providing a new Windows 10 key, though since the activation service is offline, they plan to call me back tomorrow as usual. Let's keep an eye on it.

You've provided a case number and are testing your Windows 8 Pro license to see if the upgrade will work.

I wouldn't share the key openly, as it could be set up on individual machines and be hard to access.

It's a standard key linked to most upgrades. It won't work for a Windows 10 version, as the system verifies hardware IDs instead.

Another update, really unpleasant... A friend was using an unofficial version of Windows 7 with a faulty loader. When we had the original keys, I upgraded her computer to Windows 10, and it functioned perfectly. As expected, her pirated Windows 7 automatically activated into Windows 10. How reasonable is that for us? This is seriously unfair. Should we all follow suit? EDIT: To be more precise, I saw the pirated key paired with the loader before installation, which worked exceptionally well. After installation, the key became active and was unlocked without needing the loader anymore, granting her a free Windows 10 Pro license.

Fortunately, I attempted another license and Windows isn’t turned on. I looked up a specialist forum and saw that the activation servers are overloaded, causing many people—including us—to struggle with activating our Windows 10 Pro version.

Are you using a license W7 or W8? This trick only functions with W7 loaders due to the SLIC issue.

I just finally turned it on. This approach is perfect. Navigate to the activation section and press that button repeatedly—don’t stop until it’s done. It’s working non-stop! I’ve tried this over twenty times, so keep going!

Certainly! Your current setup uses a W10 installation created via the Windows 10 Media Creator, not an older W8.1 Windows Update version.
