When you mention 60Hz it suggests you're using 1080p resolution. That wasn't clear, so I assumed otherwise. You were being dishonest by not stating it. It's not a race and we can't assist if you're not truthful. In any case, you definitely need an upgraded setup. Or if you think it's about RAM, try adding more and check if it improves things. It won't, but you appear to be focusing on that argument.

What resolution are you targeting? 4:3 is a different aspect ratio. Common settings include 800x600, 1024 x 768, etc. You might be able to run at a specific resolution, but it’s unlikely. Otherwise, you’ll need a more powerful machine as Dedayog recommended. Even optimizing the Nvidia control panel won’t make much difference. You’re already at around 95% usage.

It's not a big issue if you don't have a browser running in the background. 8GB should be sufficient for the games you mentioned. You could try lowering the resolution to 600p and using the lowest possible setting. Unless you've made many adjustments to your game file, those games might still not run on 512MB of VRAM.

I can play GTA V at 1920x1080 resolution maintaining 50 frames per second for several minutes.

Good morning, good sir. I believe the issue lies not with my hardware but with Rockstar's recent updates. I noticed older videos showing smoother gameplay on previous versions of GTA V. The memory leak problem appeared only in newer releases. To address this, I installed a cracked copy of the game (though I originally purchased it on Steam). It runs without issues and lasted hours without noticeable frame drops.

Are you referring to the main menu? It seems unlikely GTA V would launch on that GPU. I’d note that a 660M might not be enough, as it’s likely a 2GB card. The mobile version should work with at least 2GB of RAM, which matches GTA V’s needs. Assuming your post has an error, the problem is real.

It's 512 MB, which is a change I observed between the older and newer versions of GTA V. In past releases, even with lower specs, the app could still adjust to fit the user's capabilities—like my 512 MB GPU. However, in the latest updates, minimum requirements became strict, and the app displayed VRAM as 4GB instead of the previous 512 MB. This discrepancy might be the root cause. Newer builds seem to assume more VRAM than older ones did, unlike the previous approach of compensating for limited resources.
