Defragmenting SSDs doesn't destroy the memory chips. You can still defrag a SSD and it's fine. The biggest impact is that write cycles will run out quicker. If the drive is already near the end of its write cycle life, then defragmenting may consume the remaining ones.

The issue stemmed from the SSD causing the PC to run extremely slowly, possibly due to infection. Currently, he’s using my old hard drive and everything functions properly—200 FPS on medium settings in CSGO. If anyone shares the same experience, I suggest replacing the hard drive or reinstalling Windows and performing a clean startup in msconfig.
