Hi, please install the WiFi analyzer app on your Android device. It will show you which channels the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands are using. You can then adjust them to unused channels, helping reduce signal congestion and improve performance.
Sure, I tried to clarify. The red one is the router and it seems to be the source of the issue.
Let me know what you're trying to do, and I'll help you with it!
Examine the initial image you shared. That is the location. Your version is set automatically, but you have the option to adjust it according to local laws.
They attempted the fix, but it didn’t help much. The latest router is also causing big speed issues, possibly due to 4G limitations. This new setup seems problematic overall.
I've tried many solutions. First, I got a range extender that I used as an access point and then assumed it was the main router, so I replaced it with a new one. That didn't fix anything. Later, when checking speeds, I realized the 4G connection was giving me only 5-10 mbps even outside, which is quite low. Then I noticed that my upload speed was terrible during downloads, sometimes dropping to around 2 mbps, but when downloads improved, upload would jump up to about 13 mbps. Also, I observed that speeds could swing from very fast to poor in just a second or two. It's strange how such fluctuations happen. Sometimes restarting the router helped temporarily, but not always. I understand these questions might be tough to answer, but maybe someone can shed more light. Thanks!
