Hello everyone. About six months ago, I set up my gaming PC. I’ve been playing mostly without any problems—mainly CS and Valorant, with no crashes. However, when I try more intense games like Call of Duty and PUBG, I notice more frequent freezes. The game will crash after a short while, and I end up on my desktop with a warning message. I thought the updates would fix it over time, but it hasn’t improved. Here’s a summary of my hardware:
- GPU: XFX Speedster Merch AMD Radeon TXR 6800 XT Core Gaming Graphics Card with 16GB GDDR6 AMD RDNA2
- PSU: Antec VP700 Plus
- Drivers: Video drivers reinstalled multiple times via DDU
I also noticed the GPU has two PCI-E 8 connections, but my setup uses two PCI-E 8 (6+2) ports. Could this be causing issues? I heard a distinct “coiling” sound when running demanding titles, which isn’t harmful, but it’s worth mentioning.
