Issue with RAM, please clarify!
Hi there, it seems your system displays a different speed than what you installed. This could happen if BIOS settings or RAM timings were changed after installation. Double-check the RAM type and ensure it matches the specifications. If the issue persists, revisit the BIOS configuration to confirm the correct values.
XMP is already active. It seems the picture existed prior to that. I found various different values scattered throughout. The DRAM status displayed 2133, while the "Memory:" section showed another number. I adjusted a few parameters to 3200 and then turned on XMP before saving. The image in my first post was likely before those tweaks. These pictures display the present configurations.
It confirms the system is operating at 3200, everything appears fine. The 2133 value seems fixed in the code.
I believe the system is capped at 2133 only in BIOS settings. Try launching Windows and check the Performance tab under Memory for speeds around 3200MHz. Your current reading is 2667, likely due to B460 architecture but intended to highlight the correct range.
