Issue with M2 Nvme disk not appearing in PCIe adapter list
Hello, I purchased the UGREEN Adapter PCIe 4.0 x16 do M.2 M-Key NVMe and Lexar 2TB M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe NM790, installed it in one of the slots in my Dell T5810, updated the BIOS to A33, but the drive still doesn’t appear in “my computer.” In the Device Manager it’s listed, yet when I go through the options and try to populate it there, I get an error saying “volume information for this disk cannot be found.” Most of the details I shared are in this thread: https://www.dell.com/community/en/c...te...2dd671ad76
Review the relevant documentation for PCIe/NVMe compatibility issues.

Are you aware of "diskpart"?

The main goal is simply to understand what the system displays. Not to adjust or modify settings.
Display screenshot from Disk Management. Expanded view of Device Manager sections related to disk drives and storage controllers. Screenshot from Windows Storage Spaces in Control Panel, with storage spaces details shown. (Upload to imgur.com and share the link)
Likely just need to create/format a partition and assign a drive letter.
Also note the heatsink appears on the incorrect side of the PCIE M.2 adapter; improper installation could lead to short circuits.
Open the Disk Management window and ensure all drives are displayed. Scroll further if needed. Also, retrieve a screenshot from Windows Storage Spaces.
Also, there are no chipset drivers currently installed.
Download them from the Dell support website.
