Hi guys, so a week ago i got a Corsair Veangance K70 fully mechanical keyboard, I love the keyboard so much, but i only have 1 problem. When i turn on the backlight i can hear a buzzing sound in my speakers. When i tuen off the backlight the buzzing goes away, with changing the brightness level of the keyboard the buzzing changes volume. If i turn the voume of my PC off I can still hear the buzzing, but if i turn off the sound of the speakers manuly(by turning the volume wheel) the buzzing stops. The sound file is what it sounds like(the background noise is jus me having a shitty mic). Untitled.mp3

They’re connected somewhere nearby, but it seems like there’s some kind of disruption affecting the audio.

I have the same keyboard and the same problem too. It doesn't really bother me much since I use a headset. It seems like you might be dealing with EMI interference. Try arranging your cables so none of your speaker wires touch or are close to your keyboard cable. Keep your speaker cables separate from other connections, that should help a bit. Let me know, thanks! Cheers.

Connecting the speakers at the front resolved the issue, really!

Adjusting brightness typically involves PWM (Pulse Width Modulation), which can generate EMI. Besides connecting cables to different power sources that resolved your issue, you might also purchase thicker, more shielded cables to help block EMI and improve sound quality.

I’m facing the same issue with my K70. The volume changes based on which ports you connect the keyboard and headphones to. The highest level (too loud) happens when headphones are plugged into the front panel, no matter where the keyboard is connected. The next level (still manageable) occurs when both headphones and keyboard are attached to the back of the PC. A temporary fix works: turning off the whining when the keyboard goes to the front and audio to the back, but it’s not ideal. I’m still trying to find a better way to reduce the EMI noise in my ears. I’ve been looking for advice all night. Any suggestions? You’re using 3.5mm jacks, a Corsair 450D case, and a Z97 Maximus VII Ranger motherboard.

I recall this might be outdated, but I was revisiting the same topic recently and then did some independent thinking to resolve my problem. My setup uses a laptop speaker that clips onto your LCD display and draws power from a USB port. I connected its USB power to an old Samsung phone charger plugged into a standard outlet, which fixed the issue. I hope this assists anyone facing a similar situation. -Corsair K70 keyboard -Cyber Acoustics CA-2880 USB powered Speaker Bar

Simply connecting the keyboard's USB to a different port on the speaker jack.

I'm experiencing the same issue with headphones even when they're not connected. Placing them near the keyboard causes a buzzing sound, but moving them away reduces the noise.
