I encountered the same issue with my HP K10G mechanical keyboard. It worked properly when using an USB switch selector, as long as I shared the keyboard and mouse between two computers (though not simultaneously; I changed the origin computer using a button on the switch). The problem arose when the switch wasn't powered via the 5V connector. It didn’t occur if I connected the keyboard directly through USB in the computer. The solution was to power the switch with a 5V adapter. This fix was somewhat unusual. Additionally, the issue became less severe when using a USB extension for the 5V power, likely because the cable was shorter. The ultimate resolution was switching to a current extension, which resolved the problem completely. The volume and unique sounds changed if I altered the keyboard’s light pattern. Imagine having superpower vision and seeing constant strong electromagnetic fields around us every day for over nine hours—our DNA must be fighting hard to stay intact!
