Greetings everyone, I am experiencing a CPU issue. While playing games like PUBG and APEX, my CPU usage often reaches 100%, but my GPU usage varies. It usually fluctuates between 50% and 99%. I attempted to underclock my GPU, but it did not resolve the issue. My CPU continues to operate at 100%, while my GPU is at 80-99%. Whenever I watch benchmark videos of the GTX 1050Ti and the i5-7400 processor, they appear to run smoothly without any bottlenecks. If you have any suggestions for me, I would be grateful if you could share them.
PC Specifications:
GPU: GTX 1050Ti
CPU: i5-7400
RAM: 16GB CL16 2133MHz
Manufacturer: Lenovo B250 (36D9)

Have you limited the frame rate to 60?
What is your CPU usage when the computer is not in use?

What are the temperatures of your components, CPU and GPU? Also, do you have any background applications that might be using excessive CPU resources? You can check this with Task Manager and identify what's consuming CPU by looking at the processes tab.
If temperatures are acceptable, run a virus scan using something like Malwarebytes; it's free and effective. Once it scans and finds nothing, you can uninstall it.
The CPU should remain below 100°C; it will throttle its clock speeds around this temperature. Ideally, you want it at 80°C or lower, and the GPU should be similar.
Good luck!

I tried, but it didn't resolve the issue.
My CPU usage is under 10%.

I did, but it didn't find any viruses. My CPU and GPU temperatures are 60-65°C for the CPU and 68-73°C for the GPU.

In my opinion, your issue could be one of the following:
1) Your 7th generation 4 core/thread CPU may no longer be sufficient for these games.
2) Your system might be underperforming for some reason, such as malware or throttling issues...
It would be useful to determine if the CPU is operating at its maximum potential. I would recommend running Cinebench R23 to verify the clock speed while it is running (this will indicate if it drops below its base frequency) and also check that the score is approximately where an i5 7400 should be performing.

Okay, I will run Cinebench R23 and then share the results.

The result is Multi Core 3257 points, Single Core 851 points. I'm not sure what this score indicates; is it good or bad?

A quick online search for both scores suggests that the processor is performing roughly as expected.

Then why am I experiencing CPU issues? I have tried everything, but I still cannot determine how to fix my problem. As I mentioned in my previous responses, when I observe tests from others with the same system as mine, they seem to perform well, yet my system has a CPU bottleneck issue.
