You may be CPU constrained at this point; you could attempt a fresh installation of Windows and drivers to see if that helps. Also, have you recently updated your drivers? If you wanted to upgrade to a more powerful CPU, you could consider switching to a Xeon,
you would need to confirm that your motherboard supports it,
but you can get a Xeon E3 1200 V5 series CPU that will provide performance roughly comparable to an i7 6700 for less than 20 dollars. Most Xeon E3 1200 V5 series CPUs include hyperthreading, so avoid the 1220, 1225, and 1235L, or simply select the hyperthreading feature.
