You missed out on some great content from earlier games. The best mods for cod4 are available now and they’re quite affordable to purchase at the moment. For your lag issues, let me know what OS you're using. Don’t worry about MW3 for now—it’s not something you can fix easily in MW2. Have you tried turning everything off? Closing background apps and updating Punkbuster (I can’t recall if MW2 needed it, but I tried). It might help with frame drops if you give more details about when they occur.
Have you attempted turning everything off? Yes, closing all background apps didn't help. Updating punkbuster didn't seem necessary, but I'll give it a try. I'll let you know if it works, thank you for your response.
