gpu memory consumption is 2200MB (msi afterburner). ram usage was 5381 MB on msi afterburner; task manager indicated bf4 was using roughly 2.5GB of ram with pagefile usage around 7400MB. After disabling the pagefile, windows froze and closed all programs due to running out of memory. You now have two 4GB RAM sticks. Should you purchase 16 or 32 GB of RAM to resolve the issue?

A common problem in Battlefield 4 is memory leaks. 16GB works just fine, and there haven't been many reports about issues with that amount. 32GB seems too much.

Don't turn off the page file . There's no reason to. If your RAM usage was 5381MB plus 2.5GB then yes, buy some more RAM.

It seems those specs aren’t super important right now, but here we are: 1440p, i5 4690k, gtx 970, 8Gb ram, and the rest doesn’t matter. Nice motherboard choice!

There were 5 players online and you were playing on the map "New World".

silk road involves roughly 64 participants, but with 32 players it's similar

It's a temporary storage area on your computer that helps with running applications and storing data temporarily.

You might consider a balance between storage needs and performance.

Are you kidding? It's just a Bf4 problem that's never been solved.
