It's not unusual for Gsync to lead to more flickering on compatible displays compared to Freesync. The flickering happens due to sudden brightness changes when the refresh rate shifts near the Low Frequency Compensation limit. With Freesync, this threshold is typically around 48Hz, while Gsync uses about 60Hz. This means LFC is less likely to activate on Freesync monitors, which could reduce flickering—though it might introduce other problems. If your monitor supports Freesync Premium or Freesync, enabling it may disable LFC and potentially eliminate the issue.
