Yeah, the Memory Kit is Samsung B-die it looks like. The kit's DOCP / EXPO is DDR5-6000 CL40 , and supposedly THAT won't run either... At this point, I think OP should either : Run at DDR5-5800 (or slightly higher with BCLK tuning?) and dial in the memory timings (i.e. Primary + Secondary + Tertiary, whole meal deal). Return the Corsair kit.
It's quite manageable to operate at 6000mhz with the CL34 or CL36. However, he may need to adjust the SOC to its maximum capacity of 1.3v, such as using a 1.29V SOC in CL34. Timings are generally solid, but they were established before the 1.3v SOC restriction was implemented.
Hey there! Just wanted to make sure about the memory type—SK Hynix M-Die, not Samsung B-Die. The CL40 designation comes from the fact that in Brazil it’s significantly more affordable to purchase memory with high CAS latency and later overclock it. Since I was confident the memory came from Hynix dies, I thought it was a solid offer. I’m still stuck on the 200MHz speed I’m missing, but considering the savings—around 30% to 35% less than a 6000MHz CL30—it still makes sense.
