If you're aware of what should be turned off, please share a list. It's strange to request this even though I've clearly said no, and suggestions aren't helpful.

It's wise to check background activities during games. Run the game in windowed mode and keep Task Manager open.

Just in case you need more, background processes will keep running under Windows. They might sometimes cause smooth gameplay, though it depends on your setup.

This has never occurred to me before after removing bloatware from Windows, but my approach is quite extreme.

In short, the issue is likely related to the operating system, not the card itself. It seems like a software problem, and you've already checked temperatures, clock accuracy, and benchmarks—everything looks fine. You're just trying to fix it now.

It shouldn't be this way. The unnecessary software bundled with Windows 10 and its background processes can be fixed, but I suggest using Windows Server 2019 instead—it has no such bloatware. You can download the evaluation version for free: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcent...erver-2019 and install it with a desktop environment. For tips on getting it to work smoothly, check this guide: https://www.windowsworkstation.com/win2016-2019/

Hold on – though sometimes stutters aren’t ideal, I believe this isn’t accurate. I haven’t been on a machine where it never occurs. If operating feels okay with this, I’d recommend going ahead, though it’s a bit bold to jump straight into modifying the OS.

I really don’t want to install a new operating system, especially since I haven’t heard anyone confirm it solves the stuttering issue. No worries about offending @Vishera—I’m not sure how often you’d need to check this to stay safe. A rough estimate would be helpful.

Sure, just let me know if you'd like me to share screenshots of your startup tasks and task scheduler. Also, feel free to disable any unwanted third-party apps—sometimes that helps. I’m not sure if the issue is software-related, but it might be worth trying a fix.
