Hi there, you just upgraded your system nicely. Everything seems to be working smoothly now. I wasn’t sure if adjusting the CPU frequency and voltage would help, but after following your steps carefully, it did make a big difference. You mentioned running the 1660 Ti before and after overclocking, which is great. I’m curious if you followed the BIOS settings correctly and if the power-saving features were properly disabled. You're dealing with a lot of high voltage. What kind of cooling system is being used? Have you pushed it to its limits? Are the temperatures normal? What's the main concern you're trying to address?

Thanks for the update. I'm testing stress tests in Escape from Tarkov, usually getting 110 FPS or higher. The MSI site suggested a certain voltage, but it's stable at lower values—61 degrees Celsius max. I increased it to 1660 and it ran fine for a while. How far can I push it? Does overclocking the GPU help or hurt performance? Not sure, but it seems okay so far.

Find the reference on 1.43V for Intel CPU cores. Check if the 61C reaches its maximum under full load, such as when using Aida or OCCT stress tests. Clarify if you mean the same scenario.

I wouldn't feel at ease with 1.43v for everyday use unless you intend to swap the CPU and/or motherboard in about two years. My rig runs at 1.35v and it pulls around 110w; 1.43v is way too high, especially with voltage spikes. Tarkov is quite demanding on the CPU, so I’d suggest a 8700k/3600/2700 baseline. Look at the CPU and thread activity—especially if it’s not running on ultra.

I also played a game on Shoreline with the setting at 1.350 and it turned out to be more stable. It was definitely worse before, but now I’m glad I asked for help with my question. Thanks!

1.44 works, but it's hard to stay cool. I'd add an exhaust fan at the back of the case, though.

I had it earlier but I think it works better at 1.350v. It was also nice at 1.440 64c max. My setup is arriving on Tuesday.
