Checked all external drives and everything looks fine except for one hard drive I’ve owned for a while. I’ll swap it out during the next pay period.

You're wondering how to reference something that challenges your argument. At 1440p, with that specific hardware setup, they should be achieving the same frame rate as you. The numbers suggest a balance—like 2700x versus 2060 at 1080p, which puts more strain on the GPU, but their 2070 model handles it well. You should anticipate comparable outcomes, since this is the configuration that remains unchanged. I haven't noticed any GPU dropping FPS with this setting in games over the past two decades.

Texture filtering impacts performance noticeably at higher resolutions like 1440p. The effect varies based on the map and screen conditions. In CS2, developers typically target the most demanding situations. Older graphics cards from the 20s require significant bandwidth and processing power that may not support sudden rendering increases in today’s games. Consider sharing a screenshot from your link for reference.

For a fresh perspective, consider another reference.

I referenced your link correctly, but it didn't include a CS2 benchmark. It focused on CPU limitations rather than GPU performance. Your argument about texture filtering having no impact when the CPU is constrained supports that conclusion. The data suggests the issue isn't a CPU bottleneck. Your claim is being challenged, as you mentioned another user used an even slower CPU in similar tests.

Well, 12100 matches 11400f quite well. Both benchmarks show my goal of at least 100fps, which is much higher than what the author mentioned. Regarding filtering, first off, did you really run the 1440p at 1060 and achieved an average of 150-200fps? The key point is that resolution impacts fps, dropping from around 10 to 20 fps when upscaling. An 8x improvement would definitely help.
