Upgrade mainly for better performance, not just the load percentages. It also lets you access more features during gameplay.

A 5900x works fine, though it might be excessive unless you're doing intense editing. I'd prefer more RAM—minimum 16gb, ideally 32gb.

Because of cyperbunk, 8700k remains solid but Ryzen is now clearly superior.

DDR5 will cost more due to poor timing, especially at the beginning. It might be a year or two at most before it becomes more affordable. Inel is expected to win gaming slightly, but 5900x offers four additional cores compared to 11900k.

However, it remains just a rumor... perhaps DDR5 compatibility will be added in the upcoming Ryzen models due to the new socket release this year.
