Hello,
Because of COVID, our offices are now online. My company uses software to monitor my work hours, mainly tracking my mouse movements. Sometimes I need to step away from my desk for personal reasons, which leads to my manager reprimanding me. I’m trying to find a solution that allows me to move the mouse cursor when I’m not at my desk. If anyone has an idea, please share it.

/R/C car... connect the mouse to it and simply carry the controller with you, moving it occasionally.
Alternatively, choose an RC that operates via a smartphone, though this can become costly and complex.
Or train your pet, or a child, to operate the mouse.

Yes, I see the issue. You might consider using mouse move software that controls the cursor movement within a specific time frame you define.

Thank you for your message. However, I believe relying on software could lead to issues since my company might identify its use. Are there alternative options you'd consider?

I doubt your business will notice this program. You might also consider using mouse jiggler, though it's a paid service that could incur costs.

Your idea is excellent. I'll also recommend the final option.

Find a free tool that won’t cost you anything to control the mouse cursor. Look for software that doesn’t leave a trace for your company.

This moves into areas involving hidden tools and illegal activities, which this platform does not support.
