PSU noise occurs briefly before stopping and recurring after a minute, repeating for hours. The system specifications include: GTX 1660, Ryzen 5 1600 AF, 16 GB RAM at 3200 MHz, 250 ssd, 1 TB HDD, COOLER MASTER MWE WHITE 230V 550W, B450 Aorus Elite v2. It doesn't produce coil whine either—it's separate.

The PSU is quite old, and it has been running since a long time ago. My research shows that coil whine at low loads is typical for that model.

You can try examining the side by rolling an A4 sheet into a tube and directing it toward the PSU to locate the source more accurately. The sound frequency doesn’t match typical high-speed fans, which also aligns with the rotation speed of PSU fans. If the noise originates from the PSU itself, it could indicate a mechanical issue with the fan or damage to the blades hitting nearby wires or insulation materials. Sometimes loose cardboard fragments can become embedded during packaging or assembly.

The noise disappeared a week after posting this and I haven't heard it in nearly a month. The cause is still unclear.
Things I attempted: Cleaning the entire PC, removing dust and manually taking out some hair from the PSU fan – these steps might have helped, but the noise persisted for a few more days.
I will provide another update if the issue returns.
