first of all I really appreciate what you are doing here, giving free advice and spending time on it.
I am from Europe but I am totally fine with using this pcpartpicker (it is awesome).
I would like to build a PC mostly for gaming/game dev with good cpu as it will be suitable as a work station and maybe some video editing here and there.

I would like to keep the CPU - i7 13700k and GPU RTX 4070 (but here I would like to know which type and manufacturer are best).
I would really need to suggest a

Also I will take any suggestions and all of the other parts if there is better option for the money and I am very open to any case suggestions.

Tell us about the country and your budget, along with the website you use to view the parts. For productivity and development, Ryzen 7900 or 7950X would be ideal choices. The 4070 with 12GB VRAM might not be the best option. As a developer working with high-resolution unoptimized textures, having a GPU with ample VRAM is beneficial.

Thanks a lot! I’m considering going with the second build using an RX7800 and an Intel i7. Would you mind suggesting another Mobo that supports DDR5, or should I wait a few years before it becomes worthwhile? Also, since my partner is really focused on the design and it’s important to me, do you think this case will provide good cooling and fit well with the overall build? That’s still the main priority for me. Great question. It feels more like a hobby than a job, so I don’t think I need such specific features right now. Thanks!

There’s no requirement for an SSD that includes a heatsink. Most modern boards now come with a M.2 heatsink for your SSD. Pairing it with a graphics card like the RTX 4070 gets you ready to go.

For gaming purposes, a non-K CPU is acceptable. However, for demanding tasks such as video editing, I recommend the K SKU with Z790 for strong VRM performance and better boost speeds.
