You'd notice performance drops, slowdowns, or crashes when apps open. Check memory usage tools to see if RAM hits limits.

Imagine a Chrome session that grows to 5GB; if other activities are compressed to 2GB, performance drops slightly for those, but it’s acceptable since they’re not your primary workload.
