I believe Minecraft is monitoring my activity as it captures a screenshot of my desktop and the game interface when I open the desktop executable. It also records images of my desktop icons occasionally, sometimes showing different screens such as the Gold Rush menu. Updated April 23, 2021 by thrasher_565

Mindscape versus Minecraft? Clarification needed. Other options in the menu aren't Minecraft. Confirming legal acquisition? @thrasher_565

It could be related to Steam issues since I started Gold Rush and got the Minecraft Play Launcher, but when I take a photo it looks like it's just showing a loading screen. Edited April 23, 2021 by thrasher_565

It's interesting you're curious about the choice between Win7 and Win10. You can upgrade for free with a valid Microsoft license, which may improve performance.

One day I might get infected again, but I dislike Windows 10 because of the spyware. It feels like a constant battle to clean it up. I managed to fix it on my laptop, though Korona resisted a lot. Probably it’s still there, just the icon is gone. The issue is I don’t want to constantly hack my OS every time I need to reinstall it. Having a ready-made ISO would be perfect, but that might be a gray area. What do you think?

Spyware? Not really... I haven't heard of it before. It seems like a nuisance, especially when Edge pushes you to install it. I believe it might be Windows 10 version 1609.
