My PC is the fastest computer in our house and should get the best internet because it uses an ethernet cable instead of wifi. It has a speed of 309 down, 3.16 up, and a ping of 4 ms. Everyone else in the room gets better speeds on their phones or laptops when they use ethernet, but this PC is still okay with that setup. When I switch to using wifi for my computer instead of ethernet, the numbers go the opposite way: down speed drops to 2.09 while up speed jumps to 36.86. A typical phone reading shows a different split: 33.7 down and 38.6 up. Since this PC is sitting right next to the router, I know that's why things are happening. I tried upgrading my Windows 11 version and updating the router drivers too. Thanks for any advice you can give me! Also, please let me know if I have more details to share.
