I'm currently at 924 hours on the PC edition only... It makes sense in my perspective. I usually suggest working with friends or joining an online group instead of going solo. This helps prevent cheating by keeping sessions private, lets you get support for your daily goals, and keeps you more connected rather than being ignored. I haven't interacted with the mods yet, but there are some multiplayer options available already that work well with mods and scripts (right now, the top ones are FiveM, GTAV:MP, and GTA Co-Op). If you're okay with the XB1 version, stick with it unless you really want the mod support.

I haven't upgraded to the PC version yet, but I loved the 360 version. LOTS of stuff to do, great storylines, and online was pretty fun too. Obviously, it doesn't hurt to wait for a sale or something, but I'd still go for it.

Sure, enjoy the game! There are also a lot of mods available to give it a unique twist. I've actually spent a lot of time customizing the game with them.
