I believe purchasing Windows makes sense, though the cost matters. You can buy it legitimately from Microsoft for $110, or from a reseller for about $20 on sites like eBay. There are also free versions of Windows 10 Pro available through certain programs, but I can't share details since that violates the forum rules.

For your personal W10 Home, enabling Hyper-V requires an upgraded license. Since you purchased it directly from Microsoft, you should have the necessary license already.
