I’m about to grab a screen capture soon, though it essentially blocks me—can’t change it until I power it off... brb.

Certainly, it only functions once I don’t want it to. It seems the scripts on the page were blocking access, but now it’s working properly. Submitting the site as a safe one appears to have resolved the issue.

Based on this reasoning, everyone should be using Norton. I've relied on it (Norton Internet Security) since 2003, never encountered a single virus or malware. However, when people mention Norton, they often feel uncomfortable, so... (They now offer just one product, "Security," essentially rebranding Internet Security, since they realized basic antivirus wasn't sufficient anymore; a proper firewall is necessary.)

I've been using Avast for years and experienced the problem only once, which was related to the website rather than the antivirus software itself. It affected other antivirus programs as well.
