I plan to push my CPU and GPU to their maximum overclocking limits, along with increasing the voltage for RAM. My current setup includes an EVGA 650w 80+ Gold power supply, but a friend warned me it might be limiting the system's performance.

As long as your PSU can provide a minimum of 500 watts on the 12V rail, there should be no issues.
