I plan to push my CPU and GPU to their maximum overclocking limits, along with increasing the voltage for RAM. My current setup includes an EVGA 650w 80+ Gold power supply, but a friend warned me it might be limiting the system's performance.

the components will consume 282w in stock at full load, how much additional power are you supplying? unless it's doubled, it should be okay. 130% equals 200%.

As long as your PSU can provide a minimum of 500 watts on the 12V rail, there should be no issues.
