Check if the Files app is installed or try opening it manually. If Feem handles transfers, ensure your iPad Mini 1 supports it and that the app is enabled. You might need to restart the device or update iOS for better access.

iOS initially lacked native file management until iOS 11 in 2017. Apple suggested you didn’t need it, so transferring files was limited to iTunes. An alternative approach involves using an older, paid FileBrowser version (available on iOS 9) to explore the file system.

I'm trying to use my mini 1 as a comic book reader for my offline CBR games. Can you explain how to get them or move them over? I'm still getting familiar with the system.

You would locate a reader application, set it up, and probably move to that platform via iTunes or an internet-based cloud service.

You should upload the file via Drive or Dropbox, then use the Reader to download it from the same location.

Refer to the documentation for the specific application, though an iTunes or USB connection is probably the primary method.

This feature isn't available on iOS9 without the Files app installed.
