It's actually quite slow, but I successfully downloaded HotspotShield from Softonic and plan to give it another shot.

It seems the simplest setup is easiest, but avoid thinking about the trail features—they might charge you unexpectedly. There’s a download/upload limit, though I haven’t used it recently and can’t recall the details. On Mac there’s a workaround, but I’m not sure if Windows offers something similar.

Using 8.8.8.8 as your DNS is recommended.

Use Windows to obtain and set up the Brave web browser. After installation, click the plus sign (+) to launch a new tab. Choose "New Private Tab with Tor" from the right-click menu. When Tor is connected, you can access any site through that tab. From there, you can download VPN clients as needed.

Sure, I understand. It seems the current approach isn't effective, so the issue might be with the proxy configuration.

You can determine a website's IP address by sending a ping. But a school network is configured this way for valid reasons. If the school discovers you're tampering with their network or trying to access unauthorized accounts, you could face legal consequences.

I used a method to retrieve information, but I can't access personal data like passwords. For your professor's Wi-Fi, check their official documentation or contact them directly.
