Internet at the school? 😕
Internet at the school? 😕
Hey, I understand this might be confusing. I’m trying to play games at school because I stay overnight there. But there’s a DNS block for most apps, which makes it hard. My school has two Wi-Fi networks: one for students with a proxy server that blocks us, and another for professors with a partial block but no proxy. I’m wondering if there’s a way to either bypass the proxy and remove the DNS block, or if I can get the password and username of the professor’s Wi-Fi. I know the EAP method is PEP and the second step verification is MSimpv2. I remember we used a password before, but it stopped working after IT found it. Now connecting via my phone causes authentication issues. If anyone can help, please let me know. Thanks!
I recommend trying a VPN such as Hotspot Shield or x-vpn. That’s what I used before, and set up on around 100 other devices on laptops due to the same North-Koran restrictions. The IT staff were too focused on each other that they missed how many of us had VPNs installed. I don’t know if this will work for you, since they could block the technology they rely on, but give it a shot.
Perhaps he wasn't as confused as I thought he was stopping all sites linked to VPNs. Do you understand how to install a VPN directly through Windows without using any downloads?
You'll need to find a way to install it, as the Windows Store might be restricted.
He didn’t prevent the Hotspot Shield download from being tough.
