I mostly enjoy playing games on my GTX 680, but not every title loads properly. Some fresh releases such as Shadow of Mordor, Dying Light, and others work well.

It's recommended to aim for 30 frames per second or higher. What seems unusual might actually be what some users prefer less. This likely explains why consoles limit themselves around 30 fps instead of higher numbers like 40 or 50.

Setting up a custom resolution is the recommended approach. Users suggest limiting it to 30... but don't follow that advice. You're free to choose any value you like. Search for a YouTube tutorial tailored to your GPU brand (NVIDIA or AMD) to learn how to adjust the resolution or refresh rate. It's tough to explain this while on my phone.

I've already identified the answer, I'm going with 60 hz.
