It seems everything is functioning well. The AIO_pump header exists for several reasons—I’d definitely use it, though the pump will also operate perfectly with the CPU fan. The splitter is just a splitter and should work fine.

The fan and pump speeds will be managed individually according to the job. "Higher heat = quicker fans, etc?" Yes, if they become too noisy, you can adjust them via the BIOS.
