They mentioned using PSU and still lacked control, so alternatives like PWM splitters or fan hubs were suggested. You seemed looking for a way to avoid purchasing anything. It seems you're questioning why certain header controls are restricted.

For the AIO_PUMP setup, it's advised to set the fan-fail warning off in the BIOS. The recommended connectors depend on your motherboard model—look for standard 4-pin or 8-pin CPU cooler connectors. Make sure they match your system's requirements.

Typically the CPU+CPU option and the chassis fan connectors are included. You might opt for a fan hub or a PWM splitter, allowing 3-4 fans per header securely.

Is this the intended PWM splitter? Just checking. Regarding the parts, the M.2_FAN and W_PUMP+ are designed to handle additional cooling or power needs, while fans can be connected if they fit the setup.

I just noticed I still need to connect my back case fan. It’s now linked to CHA_FAN1, giving me these connectors: M.2_FAN, CPU_FAN, CPU_OPT, W_PUMP+, AIO_PUMP, and a 5-pin EXT_FAN. Should I consider a splitter? The post above suggests checking if you have enough for the Kraken x73.

You won’t notice any variation there—they’re simply regular fan ports. Just connect the aio to the W_PUMP as instructed.

This configuration would route three front case fans through a splitter, then three back case fans via another splitter. It should work if the splitters are compatible and properly wired.
