I assembled a new machine today, a 7950X configuration. After turning it on, the RGB indicators flicker but nothing activates or powers up. All components are brand new, except the GPU which is a RTX 2070 Super. Mobo notes: Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX RAM, G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB cooler, ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 storage, Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2, Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2, PSU from EVGA Supernova 1000 P5 with 80 Plus Platinum 1000W.

I waited for the device to boot for a certain amount of time. The specific components involved were detailed as well.

Start with minor adjustments: lower the cooler mounting pressure slightly, reinsert the RAM, inspect all cables and connections to ensure everything is securely attached—verify correct connections only—and remove any incorrect ones (such as a fan plugged into an RGB header). Finally, reset the CMOS.

No, the RAM wasn't listed on the QVL.

All efforts were made without reducing the increasing tension, but the attempt failed.

I didn't turn it on, so there was nothing to wait for.

Check the motherboard's manual to confirm if the RAM slots match the specifications.
