Hello! Your build sounds impressive. The freezing issue during startup might be related to driver conflicts or BIOS settings. Try updating your motherboard drivers and ensure Windows 11 is properly installed. If the problem persists, check for firmware updates on your B450-TI board. Also, verify that the SSD is correctly recognized and not corrupted.

Have you acquired another SSD to test? Please proceed with this option first. Ensure RAM is placed in slots A2 and B2. Verify all BIOS settings are set to auto, except possibly Secure Boot. Restart Windows and install it again.

I don’t have any other SSD to test. My RAM is in slots A2 and B2, I’ve saved my BIOS settings, and I even reinstalled Windows before. Sadly, it’s not working.

You might attempt the process offline in case Windows installs an incorrect driver. Consider using a single stick of RAM. Also, test booting from a Linux distribution on a USB drive to check functionality or crashes.

I’d verify two points: first, ensure your imported board supports TPM 2.0, as Windows won’t work properly without it. Second, confirm both the BIOS/UEFI and BIOs are current—modern boards often need a flash update file if you’re not sure where to find the instructions online. Do you have details about the motherboard model? If it’s been sitting unused for a while, an update might be necessary for it to operate correctly.

A WATCHDOG_VIOLATION often relates to the CPU, especially concerning the 8-pin EPS connector. It could mean the plug is in but not properly seated on the motherboard, which might cause setup issues but not installation problems.

What? This appears to be misinformation. The DPC watchdog violation relates to a software problem, not hardware, and isn't tied to specific Wi-Fi or Bluetooth devices. A driver update might help resolve the issue.

Hey there! I’m still outside. I set up Windows without connecting my network cable, maybe try plugging it in later and see how it goes. The truth is, I can’t even start the desktop because it freezes at boot and immediately crashes into BSOD. I might not be able to apply a driver update.
